By Chris Alen Sula

LIS Theory is an ongoing project in Prof Chris Alen Sula’s LIS 651 courses at Pratt Institute’s School of Information & Library Science (SILS). The course provides a theoretical foundation for understanding library and information professions, as well as the larger framework of cultural informatics and critical information studies. Students are asked to contribute ongoing commentary that connects current issues to course readings; weekly tweets are also required on the #LIStheory hashtag.

Past course syllabi are available at http://chrisalensula.org.
